GRC domes and minarets
Architectural, decorative and mosque domes, minarets and ornamental tops in GRC, made to your profile and diameter.
Sizes, finishes and installation are confirmed per project.
Forms we make
- Architectural domes
- Decorative domes
- Mosque domes
- Minarets
- Finials and ornamental tops
Domes and minarets are where GRC’s mouldability matters most. A curved shell or a tapering shaft is cast in a mould shaped to your drawing, so the profile, ribs and ornament can follow the design rather than a stock size.
We make domes for mosques, temples, residences and public buildings, along with minarets and the ornamental tops that finish them. Larger pieces are made in segments and joined on site.
What’s confirmed per project
Diameter, profile, the number of segments, the finish and how the dome is fixed to the structure below are all confirmed once we’ve reviewed your drawings. If the dome sits on an existing roof, tell us about the structure, so we can account for it when we quote.

Questions about domes and minarets
How is a large dome made?
Large domes are usually cast in segments that are joined on site. The number of segments and where the joints fall depend on the size and profile, and we agree them with you at the drawing stage.
Can you match an existing dome or minaret?
Send photos and whatever measurements you have. We'll tell you what we need to match the profile, and whether a site measurement is needed.
