GRC fins
Vertical facade fins and shading elements in GRC, made to your elevation's rhythm, depth and profile.
Sizes, finishes and installation are confirmed per project.
Forms we make
- Vertical facade fins
- Shading fins
- Design elements
Fins give a facade rhythm and depth, and cast the moving shadows that make an elevation change through the day. In GRC each fin is cast to your section, so it can be a simple blade or carry a profile drawn for the building.
We make vertical facade fins and shading elements, sized and spaced to your elevation.
What’s confirmed per project
Length, depth, profile, finish, the number of pieces each fin is made in, and the fixing are confirmed per project.

Questions about fins
Can fins have a profile, not just a flat section?
Yes. Each fin is cast from a mould made to your section, so it can taper, twist in plan or carry a profile, as drawn.
Will fins reduce heat gain?
Fins are used to shade glazing, but how much depends on orientation, spacing and depth, which are design decisions. We make the fins to the design your architect or consultant specifies.
