GRC columns are cast as shells in a mould, so the shaft can be plain, fluted, tapered or carry a profile from your own drawing. They’re used as freestanding columns on porticos and verandahs, and as surrounds that wrap an existing structural column to give it a finished shape.
Capitals and bases are made to match, and the same profile can be repeated along a whole row.
What’s confirmed per project
Height, diameter, profile, the number of pieces each column is made in, the finish and the fixing are confirmed once we’ve seen your drawings. If the columns wrap structural columns, send the structural size as well as the finished size.
